Tara Endy is a director in the Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services at BDO with over twenty years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. She assists clients with documentation surrounding technical areas, including revenue recognition, leases, foreign currency, stock based compensation, business combinations and complex financial transactions. She also provides client support surrounding accounting policies and procedures, account reconciliations, preparation of financial statements and SEC filings, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls. She has served as interim controller and SOX coordinator overseeing the creation of an internal controls committee to develop procedures within the organization that would meet required SOX guidelines. Prior to joining BDO, she served as a director in the Accounting Services practice at AC Lordi, as well as director of financial reporting for a leader in children’s specialty retailing overseeing all SEC reporting including forms 10-K and 10-Q. She also worked as an audit manager for a Big 4 firm where her clients included a $3 billion publicly traded battery manufacturer and a $5 billion US subsidiary of a building materials company publicly traded in France.
