Behnam Ahmadian, Global Head of Process Development, Cell and Gene Technologies at Lonza, reviewed the technological progress in the industry in an exclusive interview with Cell and Gene TV.
Ahmadian explained how most solutions designed for generic biopharmaceutical products fail to cater for the needs of cell and gene therapies.
“It’s important to see more platform technologies that can be used in manufacturing of cell and gene applications,” he said.
