1 How has the immune health market changed through the pandemic, and what shifts do you expect to see in the coming years that your company can address?
Immunity is one of the most important health concerns for consumers today! 36% of Americans say they have increased their use of dietary supplements since the beginning of the COVID situation, with a significant preference for natural-based solutions.
Prebiotics and probiotics are increasingly in demand from consumers and there is the opportunity to learn more about how these solutions can affect the microbiome and in turn how the microbiome can significantly influence our immune systems. Furthermore, science is making major advances in understanding the gut-brain axis and this will be vital for finding new solutions for immunity.
We are uniquely positioned in this regard as it has numerous products focused on gut health that are from natural origin and clinically proven to have a wide range of health benefits.
2 What ingredient(s) do you offer that support immune health, and what differentiates them from other similar offerings?
We offer a wide range of prebiotics and postbiotics that can support immune health. What makes our products truly unique is that unlike most solutions on the market, many of our products use yeast cell walls gently extracted from Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast instead of bacteria. This means that they can still be used and provide benefits while individuals are taking antibiotics. Additionally, individuals get all of the nutritional benefits of yeast as well as those benefits supporting immunity.
3 What type of product development and go-to-market support do you offer your customers as they seek to fill market whitespace?
We truly believe in science, nature, and people and we believe that through these we can foster a stronger world with our customers. Our goal is to build true partnerships and support our customers in five key ways:
• Through research and application with a specific focus on innovation. • Quality and regulatory compliance so that they can deliver qualitative and certified solutions. • With clinical studies and validation through our extensive research network (including Merieux NutriSciences, Soladis, LIRIC, and Universita Di Pavia) to provide real proof of the benefits of their solutions. • Helping them be more sustainable and responsible by using natural origin ingredients and processes. • With personalized support to each one of our customers.

4 What type of scientific research supports the efficacy of your ingredients, and how does this permit appropriate claims in marketing?
We cultivate quality products that have been clinically proven while keeping our production processes open and transparent. From strain selection to downstream processing, we have in-depth knowledge that allows us to put the best strains in the optimal fermentation conditions for unrivaled quality and consistency while scaling up production. We’ve mastered our industrial processes, meaning greater quality products for our customers. Furthermore, we put research and science first, which is why we acquired Nattopharma, which has the only clinically backed vitamin K2 as MK-7 on the market.
We believe that only through rigorous clinical studies and constant review of global regulatory trends and requirements can we ensure our products meet the labeling and quality needs. This includes certifications and approvals from GMP, the FDA, EFSA, AIDF, Swissmedic, and ANVISA. We hope that we can transform the health and wellness industry by inspiring and providing active and innovative solutions to our customers and partners thanks to microorganisms and biotransformation.
