Recognizing agricultural excellence The Farmer’s Award specifically honours the use of plant biostimulants in farming practices, recognizing growers who have embraced these innovative solutions to enhance crop performance, improve soil health, and build long-term agricultural resilience. The award recognizes farmers who are setting new standards for integrating biostimulants into practical, results-driven cropping systems.
Participants from around the world are welcome to enter. Farmers don’t need to be registered at the Congress to participate and win the Award.
Recent winners making headlines The 2024 Biostimulants World Congress in Miami saw Wollersheim Winery & Distillery from Wisconsin, U.S. take home the coveted Farmer’s Award. The recognition highlighted their commitment to sustainable viticulture in the face of unique agricultural challenges. Working with Planet Earth Agronomy, Wollersheim implemented biostimulant technology to strengthen vine defenses, enhance soil health, and build vineyard resilience through regenerative agriculture practices.
Previous winners have included innovative farmers from around the globe, such as Paulo Soczek Dzierwa from Fazenda Serrana in Brazil’s Paraná state, who was recognized for extraordinary results in biostimulant use and implementation of innovative farm management technologies aimed at reducing operational impact.
