Inside ETFs Canadian Webinar Series Concludes in Style
Last week marked the conclusion of the Inside ETFs Canadian Webinar Series, helping to further ETF education in Canada. If nothing else, 2020 has been an uncertain time for investors and advisors alike. With the aim of providing actionable solutions, the webinar series focused on liquid alternatives, fixed income, a snapshot of our macro outlook, and concluded with a peer-to-peer webinar discussing best practices and the biggest challenges facing Canada’s financial advisors.
Each 60-minute webinar featured thought leaders and industry experts, spending less time on their products and more time educating advisors on the nuanced uses of hedging a portfolio and investing in a zero-interest rate environment, while leaving plenty of time to answer audience questions. Our peer-to-peer webinar featured Canadian ETF guru Daniel Strauss, who talked in depth on ETFs as only he can.
The digital webinar series was well-received, as nearly 500 Canadian investors and advisors found time to carve 60 minutes out of their day to tune in and pick up a few CE credits. Don’t worry if you missed the live event, as all five webinars are available on demand and can be accessed using the links included here.
As we turn our attention to the second half of 2020, there are expectations of returning to a new normal, which for many will mean a return to the outdoors, restaurants, retail shops and the general opening of the global economy. What will a slow recovery mean for stock prices? How will central banks cope with their ballooning balance sheets? And most importantly, will volatility stick around? We will look to answers those questions and more at our Inside ETFs Canada Digital Conference November 9-10. You can register to be part of the conversation here!
