2024 is a big year for Zephyr’s PSN database and managed accounts (MAs). For 40 years, PSN has been the preeminent voice in MAs and provider of MA data. PSN has been a stalwart in helping institutions, endowments, family offices and financial advisors locate top performing MA managers. Additionally, PSN has been a reliable partner to hundreds of asset managers who leverage PSN to bring awareness to their strategies and get them in front of thousands of analysts, allocators, investment officers and financial advisors.
Being the flag bearer for any industry over a 40-year period can be very difficult, particularly in the wealth and asset management space. The industry has evolved greatly during those four decades in large part due to advancing technology and industry disruptors. In addition to the ever-changing industry landscape PSN has survived geo-political risks, financial crisis, market crashes, and corporate scandals that have shaken the industry.
Through all the peaks and valleys, the past 40-years have brought, the PSN database continued to strive and be a mainstay in the MA industry while advancing, growing, and taking advantage of the evolving wealth management space. Since its inception in 1984, the PSN database has attracted over 22,000 investment strategies across more than 2,800 asset management firms.
The PSN team sees great opportunity and forecasts continued growth in the MA space, particularly SMAs as the investment vehicle becomes more accessible to retail investors who will demand more control, increased transparency, and flexibility from their investments. PSN thanks everyone who has made the past 40 years a success and we look forward to the next 40 years of technological and investment evolution that will continue to advance our industry.
