After some doom and gloom, some people needed a swift drink and focused on making connections. Important conversations happened at The Hub (dedicated networking space and centre for innovation), evening receptions overlooking the French Riviera, technical content workshops and at our Women Mean Business lunches.
2023 saw the launch of our Women Mean Business initiative, highlighting the voices of exceptional women and it was a great success. Leading global female CEOs and the next generation of leaders took to the stage to share their views on the evolution of the industry for our clients of today and tomorrow. Notably we had an incredible 38% female speakers, the most diverse speaker we’ve had to date.
I would be remiss not to highlight Taskforce Nyx and The Lotus Flower, two incredible women’s rights charities, who shared personal stories of courage and resilience – a testament to the enduring human spirit.
Lessons in resilience we can all learn from.
Many concluded that companies who prepare for resilience, focusing the right people, strategy, and culture will have a competitive edge in the years to come.
